I put this in a seperate post because I really wanted to emphasize this point. It's expensive to get started in beekeeping as a profession. However, it's extremely easy to help out the bees on a localized basis. All you have to do is plant flowers - the brighter the better; the more the merrier! Even better, do it organically - stop using chemical pesticides and switch to all natural.
So plant some pretties and help Mother Nature!
